Dive watches have been around for almost 40 years. In the late-1960s, Swiss watch maker Doxa introduced the Sub300t. Its bright orange face and rotating bezel were developed in collaboration with the great undersea explorer Jacques Cousteau. The design quickly spread to the United States, growing faster in popularity than the sport of diving itself.
